My name is Anne Bettman, I am a photographer and curator with a passion for storytelling by means of photography with topics such as Queerness, gender, sexuality and diversity. During my puberty, I discovered social media and during this time I found out I was Queer myself. I also became acquainted with feminism and found it was something I felt connected with.

In my work, I find it important that I stay true to myself and my norms and values and add my passion for storytelling to the mix. My photography serves as a means to capture moments, places but most importantly people. To make sure that these memories don’t stay a fragment of an idea.
In previous projects, I worked with topics such as the effect of the male gaze and the diversity of Queer expressions. With my projects I search for the fitting exhibition method to reach my target group with methods such as wall exhibitions, installations and/or photobooks.
